2022 Superlatives

Here are some notable books from my 2022 reads!

Another year has come and gone! Time for my 2022 Superlatives!

I did this list last year and absolutely loved it! So I had to do it again this year! I kept to my same initial list - Biggest Laugh, The Most Disappointing, etc from last year but added an additional superlative to include my favorite book club read! Enjoy!

2022 Superlatives List

Most Tender: The Belle of Belgrave Square by Mimi Matthews

Ever since I read The Belle of Belgrave Square, I just haven't been able to stop thinking about it.You can check out my review here!

Spiciest Read: I'm in Love with Mothman by Paige Lavoie

Holy moly! I did not expect this to get so heated! But I certainly am not complaining! Review to come in 2023!

Biggest WTF Moment: American Predator by Maureen Callahan

I dove into the world of true crime this year. And this was one effed up read. And what's scarier is knowing that its true and we will never know the full story. This book definitely had me saying WTF. Review to come in 2023!

Most Beautifully-Written: Bright Ruined Things by Samantha Cohoe

I absolutely adored reading this book. An urban fantasy set in the 1920s? Yes, please! I loved all the vibes within this one! You can check out my review here!

Most Unique: Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes

I found this to be an extraordinary, unique take on the Titanic in an outer space world. You can check out my review here!

Cutest Couple: Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe

For the second year in a row these two love birds have stolen my heart! It'll be hard to kick these two off the top for a while longer! You can check out my review here!

Biggest Laugh: Pickle Licker by Allie Gail

The synopsis alone for this had me dying! This one definitely had me laughing throughout! Review to come in 2023!

Favorite BOTM: The Hacienda by Isabel Cañas

This was definitely a lower-scale horror story. But I found the plot enchanting! You can check out my review here!

Most Cringeworthy: Tender is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica

Tender is the Flesh still makes me cringe! But like in a good way? I could probably talk about this book for hours! I recommend it to all my horror loving friends! You can check out my review here!

Most Disappointing: Saint X by Alexis Schaitkin

I honestly found this to be such a waste of time. It felt extremely drawn out and overly descriptive with a plot that goes nowhere. You can check out my review here!

Favorite Book Club Pick: Secret Beast by Amelia Wilde

Oooh! This was dark, hot, and oh so spicy! You can check out my review here!

Keep an eye out for my Top 3s of 2022! And thank you so much for all your support this past year! Happy reading!
