Another year of blogging!

Hello, beasties!

How has it been 6 years already?

I genuinely didn't think I'd still be here blogging after making that first post back in 2020!

This blog has definitely become my happy place in a world full of uncertainty. I know I can always rely on my books to escape reality when I need to just block everything out for a bit. It's also helped me keep up with my reading and my ever-growing TBR. Though I will say having this blog was definitely "bad" for my TBR! I'm pretty sure my TBR grew like 5x the size it was that first year alone.

This blog has given me a creative outlet as well, outside my career as a graphic designer! Alongside my reading, I create countless reading trackers in my journals that encourage my reading. And with the support of my boyfriend, I even started making my own stickers! I struggled with what stickers I wanted to have decorate my kindle and he suggested I design my own to look how I would want. And it's sparked a new little passion project for me! So this last year, I opened a little Etsy shop to share my stickers! And I create new ones in my free time!

While I might not be a big fancy blogger, I'm happy with the community I've found and the friends I've made! It's given me the courage to start my own local book club here in the Puget Sound. I love having an excuse to go out once or twice a month to go hang out with those ladies and just talk books and have a laugh!

And I'll also be an attending influencer for Hot & Steamy in the PNW this year! I'm so excited to go! Hope to see you all there!

I'm extremely happy with where I'm at with my blogging! Reading is a passion of mine, and I'm so glad I have this platform to share with you all the books I read and love! Or hate! Sometimes it's fun to go on a rant occasionally! Haha!

I can't wait to see what the future brings! If you need me, I'll either be reading, journaling, or designing more stickers!
