Happy Halloween, beasties!
This month has gone by so quick! Where did the time go? I'm so sad the spooky season is almost over.
After a slow reading month for September, I'm happy to say I was able to get back into more this month! But I think being in the spooky mood definitely helped. I was eager to pick up lots of spooky books. Most of my reads fell in the horror or paranormal genres.
While I had hoped to get through more and I didn't get to all the books I was hoping to pick up, I still managed to get through 16 books - 10 new reads, 5 backlist books, and 1 reread. I'm very happy with what I did read!
So what did I read this month?
I finished the following books:
📖 Reread
Lore Olympus, Volume One by Rachel Smythe
5⭐
Mate by Ali Hazelwood
Big Bad Wolf by Laurie Gilmore
4.5⭐
Haunt Me, Maybe by E.M. Rinaldi
Psycho by Robert Bloch
4⭐
Harbinger by Geneva Lee
3.5 ⭐
Devil Inside by Clay McLeod Chapman
Dollface by Lindy Ryan
Frendo Lives by Adam Cesare
3⭐
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
The Church of Frendo by Adam Cesare
The Pumpkin Vice Cafe by Ellie Alexander
The Graceview Patient by Caitlin Starling
The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix
2.5⭐
Vampires of El Norte by Isabel Cañas
Unable to Rate
It's Quiet Between Bites by Rebecca A. Noble
I’m currently reading:
Wild Wicked Mate by Laurie Gilmore
Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry
Tallow and Bone by Rhiannon Hargadon
I feel very accomplished with my reading this month and I'm excited for November's reading! Especially as I'm starting off the month with a little getaway trip that will give me lots of opportunities to read. Yay!
