12.30.2025 | December WRAP-UP

Hello, beasties!

I know I'm technically a day early for this post.

But I'm so happy with what I've read this month, I really surprised myself with the number of books I got through. So I wanted to have a post to focus on what I've read for December. Especially as I'll be making an End of Year Reading Wrap-up tomorrow to talk about everything I've read this year.

I read some amazing books this month! Sunrise on the Reaping had me bawling my eyes out at the end. I discovered some new favorite authors! Found a new favorite series! I traveled to Dream Harbor, and I'm obsessed! I wish I could go there in real life!

I really went all out for this last month of the year! I got through 19 books! And I'll probably get through one more quick one to make an even 20 and to get myself to 135 books this year! I plan on picking up Ali Hazelwood's Below Zero novella after I post this! I have no doubt I'll get through it before the year ends!

Usually, my plan is to end the year with no current reads, but I went into this month knowing that wasn't going to happen this year. As one book, 11/22/63 is a Book Club pick, and we broke it up into parts and planned to finish it in the new year. And then my other CR, Manacled, is MASSIVE. I do plan to try and get this done in the new year! I am itching to pick up Alchemised!

I'm so excited to look back on all I've read this year in tomorrow's post. This year has been so great for reading! I'm already looking forward to starting fresh in the new year!
