Hello, beasties!
This has been a month for sure. I went through some intense waves of reading and not reading. But I did for the most part at least read a little bit (some days a lot a bit!) to keep myself reading. Though I did have days where I might have only read a page.
But hey! Reading is reading. And that's really all I care about.
And my mood definitely took the charge on what I would pick up. I swung between horror, thrillers, and fluffy romance a lot this month! The romances were really just ones I really wanted to pick up before the summer ended, like Ali Hazelwood's Problematic Summer Romance! I mean it's got "summer" in the name! I had to read it before fall came.
By the time August was wrapping up, I did surprise myself with my books read, I managed to get through 18 books, hopefully 19 by the end of tonight! Though my breakdown was a bit sad for my backlist books - 1 rereads, 14 new reads, 3 were backlist books, and I had 2 DNFs!
So what did I read this month?
I finished the following books:
📖 Reread
Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes

Summer Staycation by Sarah Grunder Ruiz
4.5⭐
You Love Me by Caroline Kepnes
The Sirens by Emilia Hart

Unfortunately, I did also have a DNF this month:

I’m currently reading:
It Came From Neverland by Cynthia Pelayo - I should finish this before I go to bed tonight!
Unmasking My Dark Knight by Vivian Mae & Cassandra Vega
It's Quiet Between Bites by Rebecca A. Noble - this is a BETA read!
Haunt Me, Maybe by E.M. Rinaldi
Case of the Bleus by Korina Moss
I'm hoping to get through the rest of my current reads during the first few days on September, then I'm excited to see where my mood reading takes me!
Check back tomorrow to see what I plan to or really just hope to read for September!
