Hello Beasties!

Who else is ready for the spooky season?

I mentioned having a theme for my September reads, and I couldn't be more excited! If you didn't know, Stephen King's birthday is September 21. So what better way to kick off the spooky season than to celebrate the whole month with the King of Horror's books!

Even though I've only read a handful of his books, he's easily become a favorite of mine. And I'd really love to read more! His books are always entertaining and definitely can be spooky!

I've been looking forward to this challenge for a while now! I find reading challenges to be so helpful, not only to get through some of my backlist but also to help pick up more books. I find the themes help keep me motivated to stay on top of my reading. And I've been itching to pick up some Stephen King books!

I even made myself a new journal spread to keep track of the books I've read! Though I'm still deciding on how I want to check off the books I've read.

As for what books I'll be reading specifically, I'll be doing my best to try and make my way through King's books by publication year. From what I've seen, most suggest doing it this way. Plus, I know King is known for connecting his books in subtle ways. I've already seen this in the books I've already read. So what better way to start than from the beginning!

I'm excited to see how many I'll be able to get through this month!
