This is Saturn.
A self-love journey mixed in the crossfire of a timeless love story between Saturn and the Moon. Unshaken faith sits with the pain in this triumphant adventure of a broken hearts revival. This poetry collection takes readers on an adventure of love in the midst of grappling with heartache, bullying and the challenges that may arise as an LGBTQ+ youth growing up in a religious household. Keep the faith. Walk with Saturn down a path of self-love and healing.
I’m not one usually for poetry. But after receiving this in an influencer box, of course I had to give it a go! And I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this.
I can’t judge the writing much. As I said, I’m not one for poetry, so I don’t know much when it comes to the rules of poetry. But just diving into this and reading it for fun. I found it enjoyable. I didn’t love all of them, but even with short story collections, I seldom find myself enjoying every single story.
The ones I didn’t quite, I struggled to connect with. And there were several that I found myself not only connecting with, but a few that spoke to me.
These poems touch on a variety of topics and themes, from love to loneliness to relationships. If you enjoy poetry, I’d definitely suggest picking this one up!
